George Bean really wants to play on the roof of his apartment building, but only his older sister, Anna (who is writing a poem and needs inspiration), is allowed to go up there. Then the rest of the Bean family decides to write poems as well, and they all head up to the roof. But once George is finally able to play on the roof, he finds that he has no inspiration for his poem. B&w drawings accompany the text of this beginning-chapter book. Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005.
