The Man of Steel returned to the big screen in 2006, and now he comes to the GBA with EA Games' SUPERMAN RETURNS: THE VIDEO GAME. The game is based on the movie?s storyline, although it also pulls in some extra battles, abilities, and levels to give players even more Superman action. Gamers will get to experience and use all of Superman's classic powers in the game, including x-ray vision, flight, super strength, advanced hearing and sight, and super speed. Many of these powers can be upgraded as players progress through the game, and they can also be used in combination. For example, freezing water with the super breath can turn it into a large icicle that Superman can throw using his super strength. Players must master each power to get through the many levels and to discover all of the secrets in the game. The game doesn?t spare anything when it comes to flying, either. Players have a huge number of aerial maneuvers at their disposal, including flips, dives, fast attacks, and more. Superman can even fly over 800 miles per hour. Fans of the comics won't be disappointed in SUPERMAN RETURNS: THE VIDEO GAME. While the game does follow the movie, it also stays incredibly close to the Superman franchise, keeping all the traditions of the series.
