Picasso - The Blue Nude, 1902 Framed Canvas

Picasso - The Blue Nude, 1902 Framed Canvas

Shortly after moving to Paris from Barcelona, Picasso began to produce works suffused in blue. Known as his 'Blue Period', Picasso was still in his late teens, away from home for the first time, and living in very poor conditions. Triggered by the suicide of Picasso's friend Casagemas, the Blue Period work takes on a sentimental and melancholic tone, using a monochromatic style to create depth of feeling. The Blue Nude is a sensitive portrait of a female nude.
This selection includes a sculpted frame with gentle engravings designed to emphasize the art. The merlot colored frame with rich walnut undertones includes a wooden liner with a subtle fillet.
Our canvas fine art replicas surpass most reproductions available in the market today. Each canvas is recreated in amazing detail so that even the subtlest brushstroke becomes vibrant. Artist-grade canvas is hand-stretched over wooden stretcher bars by skilled artisans and hand-coated with protectants to insure archival properties.
This framed Canvas is being custom built for you. Please allow 5 business days for the product to leave our warehouse.
