Get ready for the fights of your life with Capcoms FINAL FIGHT: STREETWISE for the PS2. Changing the traditional fighter game into more of an action-adventure, the game still contains tons of fast-paced, action-packed fights that the series is known for. Players take on the role of Kyle, a pit fighter and brother of FINAL FIGHTs Cody. The game jumps right into a fight, pitting Kyle against a huge opponent named Handsome Bob, who doesnt really live up to his name. Once Bobs down, Cody appears, and players gain control of Kyle and can explore the surrounding city. The game plays out as a series of missions given to Kyle by various characters. In addition to missions, Kyle can help take down muggers, drug dealers, and other shady characters as he explores the streets. Stopping these activities will increase the respect he gets from other characters. The more respect he has, the friendlier people are to him, and this makes parts of the game significantly easier. In addition to the main story mode, an arcade version of the game is also playable. In it, one or two players can battle their way through the city without any missions or quests. Players can choose to play as Kyle, Cody, or two unlockable characters. Gamers who love the FINAL FIGHT series will enjoy the combat and mission-style gameplay FINAL FIGHT: STREETWISE has adopted.
