Older gamers may remember a time when tiny little cars called MICRO MACHINES were incredibly popular, and now they can take a trip back to their childhood thanks to Codemasters and Supersonic Software. The two companies bring PSP games MICRO MACHINES V4, the fourth installment in the MICRO MACHINES racing series. Gamers should be prepared to be overwhelmed by choices. MICRO MACHINES V4 includes 750 different tiny little cars, giving players their choice of just about any vehicle ever. Gamers can also trade cars back and forth between the PSP and the PS2 version of the game, so gamers don?t have to unlock every car (which is done by winning 75 different single-player challenges). The vehicles are divided into 25 different classes, which helps organize and sort through them. Each car has its own stats and drives a bit differently. The game also includes a large number of tracks that perfectly capture the experience of driving a tiny car. Normal items appear giant sized, and players will find themselves racing around bathroom items, through rain gutters, and even around giant chickens. The tracks look great on the PSP, with all of the graphics appearing sharp and detailed. Fans of racing games will find MICRO MACHINES V4 presents an interesting and slightly different racing format than normal racers.
