These pads are highly absorbent so they don't need to be changed as often. The result,less bother for the patient, less labor for the nurse. Cold pads are applied intermittently for 36-48 hours after delivery. Warm pads are applied for 3-4 days after perineal cold therapy. Premium pads have an hourglass shape with tape tabs at front and back for secure placement. Deluxe pads include adhesive strip.
